Description TEC VENT STUDOR Fire Resistant AAV – Fire Resistant Air Admittance Valve for plumbing ventilation (DN40 / 1-1/2″) The TEC VENT STUDOR Fire Resistant AAV is an Air Admittance Valve (AAV) designed specifically for commercial applications and industries where flame-retardance is a priority, but is also suitable for residential use. It is manufactured from flame-retardant polycarbonate with a high tensile strength, providing savings by reducing the need for expensive flame-retardant vent piping. Technical Features Prevents the release of foul air from the drainage system. High tensile strength remains at low and high temperatures. UV stabilised – may be exposed to direct sunlight. High temperature rating against exothermic reaction in acid waste system. Screening on the inside and outside of the Tec-Vent to protect the sealing membrane from foreign objects. Ability to divert condensation away from the sealing membrane Air flow capacity: 5,9 L/sec Working temperature range : from -20oC to 60oC Applications The Tec-Vent is designed for the most demanding commercial and industrial applications.
